Citizen Artist
Commissioned by Southern Housing Group and curated by Gadi Sprukt, Giulia Sala and Helmut Feder, this project was centered around a Samuel Lewis housing estate in London. As a build up to the 100yrs celebration, 5 artists were selected to work in the community throughout the project.
With the underlying question; “What’s the point of bringing artists into the community?”, I chose to offer my services as an artist and citizen to the residents for the duration of the project. Their task was to figure out how an artist could be of use to them.
